division of labor, my end of it all!

Complete chaos, only minutes into the project!!!
Sorting, always looks more like dropping,
but there is a method, really:-)
Ahhhh, tidiness reigns,
we will see how long it lasts:-)
Doesn’t that look nice?:-)

so, yesterday was planned to be a field trip day for the family, Jon even took the day off, so, a really big deal.  Well, little miss sunshine did not feel well, not a bit sunny at all, poor baby, she felt she would only get sick if she went on the field trip, so now, decision time…  daddy accepted the responsibility for our 2 youngest, in a busy place with TONS of people, fun for him, right;-)  I volunteered to stay and tend the sick room(secretly knowing that she would sleep for quite a bit anyway:-).  Division of labor complete, we each moved off to our respective activities, daddy to contain and keep track of Little man and Sparkle girl, me to tend Miss cloudy with a chance of a dinner reprisal. Ooooo  Yay
I spent the morning tearing apart the school shelves, emptying the whole lot out, sorting into grade levels, and for whom(we now have the girls in 2 different grades in some classes), and putting together all of the books that I have been picking up, for the next few years worth of schooling!!!  Yes, for the next few years, I have precious little for their current grades, but tons for 3rd and 4th grade, how does that happen!!!?????
I will tell you, lack of truly good organization, I have tons of bookshelf space, so I felt the need to fill it, and picked up things when I found them cheap (read here free, or nearly free!!).  So, I blame my hubby, he built the shelves, and gave me free rein over them, it is his fault, and now I have to deal with the mess this has created!!  I finally got everything sorted into grades, and even in what order we will use them in some cases, I feel so virtuous:-)  I even have a list of the things that I need to make copies of, so that the girls can each do the worksheets, I am too cheap to buy another book in some cases, so copies it will be.
I also spent some time working out a schedule of when we will do certain classes, as we have to take into account PT, swim class, pickup of K from school, and little kids naps, so we have to plan our time out a bit more than I would like, and rarely stick to it, to be honest, but there you go, I wrote it out, so we will see:-)
I did get to enjoy a little Mary Poppins with J, so that was nice, some quality cuddle time, she even dressed up like Madame Poppins, very cute indeed!!!
soon to come will be pics of hubby and the kiddos, having fun together!
