Hubby recently ordered the ProFit protein shake mix from It Works, to try out, since he likes to take a shake for dinner time to keep away the late night munch at work!! I wanted to try out the vanilla shake, giving it a fair shot, since I am not super fond of vanilla protein shakes, but want to be fair, since people do ask if I like it. This Mixed Berry Protein Shake recipe I came up with, quickly and easily makes me say for sure “YES!!!” I really do like the vanilla powder!!
This was a super simple shake, came together in about 3 minutes, including blending, and was filling too. It had been a rough night the night before, with broken sleep, and my allergies acting up due to rain and mold:(, so I really needed something to get me going!! I also wanted something sweet, since we currently have some cookies sitting in the kitchen, so this filled that as well, slightly sweet, fruity, and full of high energy and nutrition!!
I added both the ProFit shake mix and scoops of our Berry flavored Greens, to boost the nutrition, and get the extra energy from those greens, and it has such a nice berry flavor:-)
This may be the easiest shake I have ever made, and next time may even add an extra frozen banana to make it more like a soft serve ice cream, mmmmm, berry ice-cream, without the guilt, yummy!!!
Mixed Berry Protein Shake
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
- 2 scoops Berry Greens from It Works
- 1 scoop vanilla ProFit powder
- 1 cup almond milk
|mix all of the ingredients in the vitamix or high power blender, blend fully, enjoy.|
|If you prefer your shakes thicker you can add a 2nd frozen banana, or a 1/2c ice to the mix.|
