Sunday Blessings…
Such a blessed week we have had, and such a trying week too, they seem to go together most the time I have noticed.
Blessings for the week:
having Big A, my nephew, come to visit for the next week, and having fun getting to know him all over again
watching Big A play games with Little Man and his best bud E, so sweet watching a big, slightly doofy 12 year old teach some 6 year olds:-)
starting back up with school again, and finding out that the kids have miraculously “gotten” things that stumped them last month!
having tons of willing hands to work at rearranging the school room
getting to spend an entire day with my dear friend Lynn, and her daughter, plus Sparkles and Fancy Miss, wandering around in the art museum, exploring the fun and crazy world of art and sculpture, such fun being with the big girls!!
visiting with my sweet little man A, seeing how much he has grown in the last month, looking forward to having him back with us every day next month!
having a few cool days to do some baking, and “pioneer girl” jelly making and canning.
I keep trying to remember the blessings when the days, and hours get trying, and Little Man and his nasty new attitude ruin our peace and fun. Trying with a string of seizures, despite a large dose of meds, uugghhh, he cannot handle more meds, it is harder enough on him as it is.
I have started a Joyce Meyer book, New Day, New You that I found at the used book sale last week. It is set up to begin at the start of the New Year, but I just opened it and began this past Monday, really committing to spending my “best hour” early with the Lord, and it is really helping to revitalize me.
I am so sorry he’s been having some big seizures. His poor little body and brain. UGG. Need to see you and doll out some hugs.
