today has now become Tasty Tuesday in our house, with sourdough bread rising, sourdough English muffins resting, bison meatballs made and Pioneer Stew bubbling away on the stove, mmmmmm!! With stuffed porkchops and veggies going into the oven soon for dinner, we will have full and happy bellies💗.
I find if I get a variety of foods made up, and ready to go, then dinners always run more smoothly and I am less stressed all around, yay for me!!:)
i am still using some of the veggies I chopped last week on my make ahead Monday, which is great!! Some chopped onion, garlic, zucchini, and peppers got a nice fine dice yesterday to go into our rice, and accompany our Jamaican fish stew🐟!!
Just a bit of food prep makes meal time go faster, makes for less stress too!!
With busy homeschool, karate, church and work schedules, prepping is essential, currently I am also working on making an extra meal every two weeks, for after the baby comes. That way the girls or Hubby can just pull it out and make something yummy, easily, while I nap and nurse for 22 hours every day😉
